Concrete Sand
This is used as the second layer in a paver patio, directly under the pavers. It should be spread at a depth of 1/2″ to 1″ thick. The concrete sand can also be used to fill the joints in a paver patio but Contractor’s Supply’s recommends the use of Flexloc Stabilizer Sand which will harden once activated with water.
*Note concrete sand is not the proper sand to be used under an above ground pool. One ton will cover 100 sq ft at a depth of 2 inches.
