Blend – 1″
This is a mixture of small crushed stones up to pieces 1″ in size. It is used as a base layer under pavers, retaining walls, and any other area that needs a solid base. When compacted, the blend will form a solid base. The minimum depth for a paver patio is 4″ thick. In soft areas and driveways, Contractor’s Supply’s recommends the use of Geotextile Fabric to help prevent settling. One ton covers 100 sq ft at the depth of 2 inches.
